Velvet Acid Christ stands as the long running, innovative brainchild of Bryan Erickson. Over a career spanning 20 years, Velvet Acid Christ has fearlessly expanded its scope, seemingly enveloping an influence and forging the further refinement of the VAC sound.
On September 14th 2012 Europe will be assaulted by an audio force that promises to make your ears bleed. The day will go down in infamy because Velvet Acid Christ has returned to its evil roots of electronic dance music with the new longplayer "Maldire".
The artwork is done by Seven of Quartier Macabre and Joseph Schulthise. The booklet will contain all lyrics. No frills, no box sets. No singles. Just a strong, yes a really strong LP with 11 tracks. The vibe is spooky and angry. Very musical and epic.
The album is inspired by the witches and warlocks who were murdered by the roman and french Christians. VAC tapped into their energy, their will and channeled their vile hatred. Velvet Acid Christ´s Ode to all the Northern European Pagans.
This Friday (only 3 days to go) will see the European release of the new KMFDM single "Amnesia", the follow-up single to last year’s rousing anthem "Krank", which debuted on the Billboard Singles Chart at #15 and the Billboard Top Dance Singles Chart at #3 (spending over 6 weeks on both charts).
"The decision to pick "Amnesia" as the lead-track for the 2nd single off the "WTF?!" album was an easy choice" says KMFDM leader Käpt´n K. "It being the 'other' dance-track and you people's somewhat bewildering desire to dance your asses off, was a match made in heaven. Let it rip !!!"
"Amnesia" includes 3 remixes of 3 different songs, one brand new exclusive song and the album version of “Amnesia” as well, for a total of 5 tracks, providing almost 25 minutes of music. All of the remixes found on Amnesia come from material originally on KMFDM’s 2011 album "WTF?!".
KMFDM’s founder and leader, Sascha K. takes point with his remix of “Amnesia”, a club/electro rework with a hefty stomp that is guaranteed to have lovers of the Ultra-Heavy-Beat reporting to the dancefloor in record numbers. Norway’s industrial-orchestral act Morlocks threw a CD onstage while KMFDM was playing at a festival in Germany. Since then they have become one of Sascha K.’s favorite new bands and have been called on here to work their strange brand of magic on last year’s single "Krank”, giving it a total revamp. Finally, Rotersand have a go at the explosive takeover track "Come On - Go Off".
The release’s brand-new and exclusive song “I (Heart) You” finds KMFDM taking their industrial grinder to the synth-pop/future-pop sound. The results are, as one would expect, uniquely KMFDM.
Special price orders are available at our shop and extensive audio samples from the single you will find here.
And in addition now a FREE download and audio stream of the remix of KMFDMs new song "I (Heart) You" by Army Of The Universe is available for you! You will find the track here.
Last but not least there is an official video clip of the title track "Amnesia". You can watch the clip here at the bottom of the page.

"disKonnekt", the upcoming release from Canada based electro-industrial masters Decoded Feedback explores the themes of alienation and existential angst so prevalent in today's society. On their latest album, band members Yone Dudas and Marco Biagiotti delve into the complex relationship between man and machine, and consider how virtual environments can disconnect us from the real world. Decoded Feedback's trademark aggressive sound and atmospheric melodies remain front and centre on "disKonnekt" and have been further deepened by their recent European tours with Covenant. To be released June 8 on Dependent in Europe, "disKonnekt" is Decoded Feedback's eighth full length release and includes collaboration with legendary industrial musician and friend Claus Larsen of Leæther Strip.

Raw, uncompromising, and visceral, Skinny Puppy live cannot be called simply a concert. It is an experience. "Bootlegged, Broke And In Solvent Seas" proves this to be true. Recorded in Warsaw, Bratislava, Hildesheim, and Budapest, this is a documentation of Skinny Puppy in top form at their latest European tour. Unlike so many other live albums, there is no editing magic or trickery. These are the songs as they were played: captured from the soundboard by Ken ‘Hi-Watt’ Marshall. Ogre’s powerful vocal performances coupled with cEvin Key’s synth modulations and sound manipulations and the machine-precise drums of Justin Bennet make this a stunning testimony to the power of this legendary act. The album is to be released June 15 in Europe via Dependent.

After stoking the flames in our Gelsenkirchen electro-forges for the first half of this year, "Dependence 2012" showcases the fireworks that will be on display at Dependent in summer and autumn. "Dependence 2012" will contain unreleased and exclusive recordings from veteran artists as well as the first high-profile releases from some of the scene's hottest newcomer acts.
The track list features brand new songs and spectacular remixes and rare recordings from the likes of Mesh, Front Line Assembly, Seabound, Pride And Fall, Decoded Feedback, Ghost & Writer, Dismantled, Stromkern, SKOLD, Informatik, Encephalon, Velvet Acid Christ, Acretongue, KMFDM and more. The tracklist also features the very first release by the newcomer act Radioaktivists.
Behind the Radioaktivists moniker hide some of the best known and busiest artists in the electo-industrial and electropop scenes. One is Daniel Myer, known for his work in projects like Haujobb, Architect, Destroid and Covenant; another is singer Frank M. Spinath, the voice of Seabound, Edge Of Dawn and Ghost & Writer, and who has also lent his vocal talents to the likes of Liquid Divine, Diskonnekted, The Azoic and Stromkern just to name a few. Krischan Wesenberg of Rotersand and also known for his work with Dismantled, Aesthetic Perfection and Imperative Reaction among others lends a hand with production, and for further vocals the Radioaktivists must look no further than Leipzig-based singer and author Alexander "Sascha" Lange. As said "Pieces Of Me" is the first track to emerge from this collective, and one listen should be enough to convince you that Radioaktivists are a bright new star in the electro sky.
